Flint Folk Festival - 2004

presented by the FlintFolk Music Society

and

sponsored by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, Mott Community College, Michigan Radio, the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs, and the Greater Flint Arts Council

Welcome to the Flint Folk Festival web site. Click the links at left for more information and follow the links on each page for information about the artists performing at this year's festival.

The photo above is from the open mic held last Saturday as a prelude to the festival itself. Our new stage and old sound system worked flawlessly. The new location, Memorial Park in Flint, was just as friendly and comfortable as expected. Come enjoy the music Saturday, July 17 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

You will need to bring a chair or a ground cover to sit on. Food will be available on site from Tom Z's Coney Island. If you prefer bring a picnic lunch or dinner. There's lots of room to play in the park if you get tired of sitting so bring some toys, or just fling around the Flint Folk Music flying disc you will receive at the festival. The Flint  Folk Music Society hope you will have fun and enjoy the music at this year's festival.
