We are a member driven organization, dedicated to promoting folk music and the folk arts in the greater Flint and Genesee County area.

Our concert schedule is designed to bring into our area, both new and established talent performing various forms of folk music and arts. We also support open mic venues and community sings throughout the area.

Why should I join the Flint Folk Music Society?

We are a member driven organization. When you join, we get to count you as a member and that aids us in acquiring grants to support our programs. These grants are needed because  admission fees do not cover the expenses of the performers and other operating costs.

Our members reap the benefits of reduced ticket prices, newsletters and a voice in the direction of the organization.

How do I join the Flint Folk Music Society?

You can join by sending a check for the memberhsip fee of $10 along with your name, address, and e-mail address if you have one to the Flint Folk Music Society, P.O. Box 1000, Flint, MI 48501. 

You can also join at any FFMS concert.
